Cheese-Date Truffles

What a match! Create delicious truffles from our creamy-sweet caramel dates and mildly spicy Gouda – perfect as a snack or appetizer. And they’re so simple to make!

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Finely chop the dates using a knife or a food processor.
  2. Mix the chopped dates with the grated Gouda and knead until a smooth, sticky mixture forms.
  3. Shape into small bite-sized balls.
  4. Roll the truffles in coconut or cocoa powder, depending on your taste.
  5. Chill for at least 12 hours in the refrigerator to enhance flavor and texture.
  6.  Optional visual serving idea: Place the truffle on a toasted slice of bread, topped with thin avocado slices and halved cherry tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of sea salt.
