about herbs

Storage

Depending on the variety, our herbs feel at home in partial shade or in the sun.

Avoid waterlogging. Therefore, it is best to place our herbs in a pot in a shallow dish that you fill with water.

To ensure that the herbs sprout properly, pick some regularly. It is best to do this in the morning, when the aroma is particularly pronounced.

Tips and special features

Perennial herbs such as lovage, rosemary, coriander, thyme, oregano, sage, marjoram and mint can be placed outside on your balcony or planted in the garden.

Perennial herbs always grow perennially and are valuable sources of nectar for insects.

History

Most herbs originate from the Mediterranean region. In the Middle Ages, herbs were often grown in monastery gardens and thus spread throughout Central Europe.
