We were wondering where our quality expert Eusebio had gone and got a sign from Seville.
He is strolling through the Llusar brothers’ mandarin fields there and is probably eating fruits from dawn to dusk. Yeah, you’ve got to be a quality expert. But maybe we’ll get lucky and Eusebio will leave a few for us? “Well, one mandarin tastes better than the next here. We have different varieties.”
Our “Sweet Natural Wonders” are beautifully mild, with juicy-firm flesh and the peel tends to be more yellowish. They are especially popular among children (and Eusebio) and we harvest them until mid-May. And our “Fresh Sun Greeting”, which have a fruity sweetness, delicate flesh, with a peel that is almost deep-red. We harvest them until mid-April and both grown-ups and kids like them (and Eusebio). The growing climate here is fantastic – which means they really thrive. That sounds good, because, we’d like to try them too! We’d better send Eusebio somewhere else fast before they’re all gone.
