Caramelized spiced clementines.
Ingredients:
- 8 SanLucar Clementines
- 250 g sugar
- 350 ml of water
- 5 g star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cloves
Preparation:
- Add sugar and 250 ml of water to a pot and heat slowly. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Peel the clementines and divide them into individual pieces. Add to a bowl and mix with the spices. Boil the syrup until it turns dark.
- Remove the pot from the heat and spoon in 100 ml of boiling water. Rock the pot lightly back and forth.
- Pour the hot syrup on the clementines and spices. Cool and serve with fresh cream or vanilla ice cream. Bon Appetit!
