Grandma’s Blueberry Muffins.
Ingredients:
- 250 g of SanLucar blueberries
- 100 g of butter
- 3 eggs
- 200 g of sugar
- 200 ml of milk
- 350 g flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Grated peel of 1 untreated orange
Preparation:
- Let the butter slowly melt. Whisk eggs in a bowl.
- Add sugar, melted and lightly chilled butter and milk and stir. Add the flour, baking powder and salt to another bowl and mix.
- Add the flour mixture to the remaining ingredients. Stir until all ingredients are slightly moist.
- Fold in the orange peel and berries. Place the muffin paper in a muffin plate and fill ¾ high with batter. Sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake in the oven at 180° C for about 25 minutes until the muffins are broken open.
