Avocado-Salmon Tartar
A dish to fall in love with! When our creamy, mildly nutty avocados meet delicate salmon, it becomes a feast. And here’s the recipe for this culinary delight.
Zutaten:
- 225g skinless, pin-boned salmon fillet, diced
- 2 SanLucar avocados, finely diced
- 1/2 SanLucar red onion, finely chopped
- Juice of 2-3 SanLucar limes
- A handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tbsp SanLucar extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- A pinch of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp capers
Zubereitung:
- Scoop out the avocado flesh and place it in a bowl.
- For the dressing, mix the lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, chopped red onion, oregano, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl. Add chopped cilantro if desired.
- Dice the salmon into small pieces and mix it with half of the dressing in another bowl. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Combine the remaining dressing with the avocado and mix gently.
- To assemble, layer the tartar using a small cylindrical mold: start with a layer of salmon, then avocado, followed by another salmon layer.
- Carefully turn the mold upside down onto a plate and let the tartar slide out.
- Garnish with capers and serve immediately. Enjoy!
