Take a handful of raspberries and blueberries, almond milk and a touch of vanilla. Then put everything in the blender and the smoothie is ready, tasting heavenly and energizing you. Because in contrast to juices made from pressed fruit, a smoothie contains the whole fruit – even with the skin! And the fruit skin usually contains many more vitamins and secondary plant compounds than the flesh. So the creamy smoothies can really push our immune system and increase our well-being. So-called green smoothies made from leafy vegetables, herbs and fruits are especially high in fiber. They are designed to stimulate our digestion and are naturally less sweet.
Juices, on the other hand, give quick energy and are also easier to digest due to their lower fiber content. So if you’re looking for a light refreshment, a juice spritzer is the way to go.
And if you prefer something a little more convenient, of course there’s also our delicious fresh fruit to drink. Cheers!
