In Southern Spain\u2019s Murcia, so many fruits hang in our trees that the branches bend down!<\/p>\n<p>No wonder: the region around Murcia is the warmest in Spain and <a href=\"https:\/\/sanlucar.com\/en\/fruits\/stone-fruit\/apricots\/\">apricots<\/a> simply love the sunny and dry weather. Apricots are harvested here from May to the end of June.<\/p>\n<p>But before the harvesters all arrive to pick them in the orchards, the fruits are carefully tested for their overall pressure resistance, sugar content and their colouration.<\/p>\n<p>And only after all criteria have been met can they be carefully picked from the tree.
