SanLucar is launching a new tomato variety on the German market: SanLucar Blacky tomatoes have a fruity, fresh and intense aroma, are very juicy and are already particularly popular with gourmets. With their dark coloring and unique shape, they are an absolute eye-catcher at the POS and on the plate at home.<\/p>\n

They are grown in natural soil and selected from the most suitable geographical areas. The new Blacky tomatoes from SanLucar grow in the coastal region of Andalusia in southern Spain.<\/p>\n

Andalusia’s climate and soil are ideal for the sun-loving fruits, which are irrigated with salt water from the coastal region of Almer\u00eda. The perfect combination of gentle, mineral-rich and salty water and the soil specially selected for cultivation create the unmistakable taste of Blacky tomatoes. This is characterized by a high Brix value, which gives the tomatoes their pleasant aroma and sweetness. Large caliber tomatoes are sold loose in 3 kg boxes. However, they are also available packed in a 400 gram cardboard tray with an additional “flowpack”, which protects the tomatoes and preserves the aroma.<\/p>\n

SanLucar Blacky tomatoes are available from the end of November to mid-May. SanLucar is accompanying the product launch with advertising materials and attractive secondary placements.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
