SanLucar, global grower and distributor of premium fruits and vegetables, is the first company in Spain to use a 200 KWh Huawei super battery in its logistics platform near Valencia. It was installed by the supplier Cubierta Solar and is one of the first of its kind available in Europe. In line with its philosophy “Taste in harmony with people and nature”, SanLucar is thus reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and energy savings. Thanks to the ultra-modern energy storage system, the company will be able to use 100% of the photovoltaic energy.<\/p>\n

“Super batteries are an indispensable tool to increase energy independence and savings, as well as to ensure sustainability and competitiveness of companies. They can be used in commerce as well as in industry, and with one or a combination of up to four units, the company can be powered completely by solar energy during the day, for example, from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. In addition, the batteries can be recharged at night with low-cost energy,” said Luis Navarro Buciega, director of Cubierta Solar.<\/p>\n

“At SanLucar, we focus on an efficient use of resources, supported by the latest technological innovations. Thanks to the new super battery, we will be able to significantly increase energy savings at our warehouse in Spain and apply the model at other locations as well,” explains Jorge Peris, General Manager of SanLucar.<\/p>\n

Cubierta Solar\u00ae has more than 10 years of experience in the field of industrial self-consumption, covering any project and any sector with its network of branches in Spain. The company has reinvented itself and developed a new solution based on photovoltaic self-consumption and industrial batteries, which makes it possible to provide renewable and very economical energy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
