SanLucar, the leading premium brand for fruit and vegetables, is launching a new product line under the name Fruitissimo and introducing a fruit ice cream to food retail that stands out for its high fruit content, exceptionally creamy texture, as well as a plant-based, vegan and lactose-free recipe.<\/p>\n

The SanLucar Fruitissimo ice cream was initially developed together with German retailers for the German market. Based on this concept, the new SanLucar premium fruit ice cream will first be available in German retail starting in June. Following very positive feedback, SanLucar has decided to roll out this new product line internationally. It will also be available, for example, in markets such as India and the Far East.<\/p>\n

With Fruitissimo, SanLucar is introducing a new brand through which the company expands its fruit expertise into further product categories. Based on its daily work with fruit and its close collaboration with its master growers, SanLucar has created a premium fruit ice cream that brings the taste of ripe fruit to the frozen aisle for the first time. In doing so, the company deliberately sets a contrast to traditional, more cream-based ice cream concepts.<\/p>\n

The result is a fruit ice cream with a clear focus on fruit. Depending on the variety, Fruitissimo contains up to 48.5% fruit and it is refined with fruit pieces, lemon zest or nut pieces. This creates an intense, natural tasting experience with visible ingredients and a smooth, creamy texture. The ice cream is fully plant-based, vegan and lactose-free, while the fruit-based varieties are also fat-free. Fruitissimo is produced in Germany and contains no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
\nAt launch, six varieties will be available \u2013 strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, mango, lemon and hazelnut. Fruitissimo is offered in a 420 ml tub (\u20ac6.99) for at-home consumption.

For retailers, Fruitissimo ice cream offers several clear advantages. A shelf life of 18 months from production ensures reliable planning and flexible storage for such a unique product. At the same time, the high fruit content and plant-based positioning support clear differentiation within the frozen category \u2013 all in the distinctive SanLucar style.<\/p>\n
