What a beautiful sight! In Southern Spain’s Murcia, so many fruits hang in our trees that the branches bend down!
No wonder: the region around Murcia is the warmest in Spain and apricots simply love the sunny and dry weather. Apricots are harvested here from May to the end of June.
But before the harvesters all arrive to pick them in the orchards, the fruits are carefully tested for their overall pressure resistance, sugar content and their colouration.
And only after all criteria have been met can they be carefully picked from the tree. After all, only the tenderest and sweetest apricots are good enough for our customers.
