Benelux.
Our dynamic Benelux team is based in the Netherlands since 2016.
The location is particularly beneficial on a strategic level, as almost 100% of our overseas fruit arrives here and can directly be checked by us for the desired quality. This quality has become so renowned that we are highly valued by many consumers from major supermarket chains.
Germany.
The head office of SanLucar Germany and our modern logistics centre are based in Ettlingen, Baden-Wurttemberg, surrounded by our many German growing partners.
A total of about 80 motivated employees ensure that processes run smoothly here. An additional team of 25 fruit-enthusiastic salespeople takes care of our trade partners such as Edeka, Rewe, Wasgau, Feneberg and Citti and repeatedly convinces with improvements and surprising ideas. And we are exploring new territories, for example with “Fruits to Go” at Munich Airport or at selected petrol stations.
Ecuador.
On our farm Magdalena, located between Puebloviejo and San Juan, our gourmet bananas are grown all year round in the mild tropical climate on the best, fertile soil. On the farms Santa Elena and Lourdes, close to El Azucar, our team of 200 employees passionately takes care of a good growth and abundant crops. Delicious grape specialities are cultivated here.
Our Ecuadorian office is in Guayaquil.
Italy.
At the end of 2019, we expanded our presence in Europe with the opening of an office in Verona. One of our great dreams is thus fulfilled: to enter Italy to bring our wide range of products closer to the end consumer, 365 days a year.
We are entering the Italian market with two major players in the fruit sector: Giuliano and Aurorafruit.
Middle East.
Dubai is not just an attractive tourist destination and a prominent Arabic centre of commerce, it also houses a SanLucar office in the Jumeirah Lake Towers.
At the moment, for example, we are working with the international supermarket chain Carrefour in Dubai and Qatar, and with SHTC (Shokri Hassan Trading Company) in the wholesale sector.
Austria.
Our office is located in Ebreichsdorf, close to Vienna. The 8,500m2 energy-efficient logistics platform can be spotted from far away. There is also an ultra-modern ripening facility for bananas. Under the management of Alexander Thaller, and with a team of 60 employees, many new products have been created and implemented here. These include for example fresh fruit in bottles as in our smoothies and juices, or our tasty “Fresh cut” concept, as well as the SanLucar shops with fresh juices and fruit snacks at bustling locations in the city.
Our main trade partners are Merkur, Billa and Sutterlüty. Besides, we also cooperate with Austrian Airlines.
Spain.
Our headquarters are located in Puzol near Valencia on the Mediterranean. The sun often shines here and this is very special: Not only is the wall greenery growing marvellously in our new office, but also the 260 employees, from sales to quality to finance departments, feel very comfortable here.
We also have several farms in Spain: From southern Andalusia with berries and citrus, to Murcia with nectarines and peaches, to Castellón with its oranges and clementines, to Zaragoza with more stone fruit.
South Africa.
On our farm Rooihoogte near Porterville we have a large area where mandarin and orange trees stretch out as far as the eye can see. With the farm Middleriver close to Langeberg we have increased our citrus production. Especially the late-season varieties grow here. De Hoek is our grape farm and is situated in the Drakenstein municipality. There we have a nature reserve of almost 2000 hectares.
500 employees, who live with their families on our farms, take care of our fruit in South Africa with a high degree of commitment. Our offices are located in Paarl.
Tunisia.
The farm La Cinquième Saison lies in the south of Tunisia, by Gabès. It is a natural desert oasis with hot mineral springs. Due to partial irrigation with the spring water, tomatoes with a uniquely intensive aroma grow on a cultivation area of 42 hectares.
In the Gulf of Gabès, on our farm “Les Perles du Désert“, we have found area region ideally suited for the cultivation of grapes, where we can try out our new and better varieties on our test fields.
Our berries grow on the farm Flor’Alia, close to Bizerte. Through natural crossbreeding, we can also work on new, surprising varieties here.
What makes us particularly proud: In 2018, the Tunisian government awarded us the prize for social progress. This award was given to us personally by the Tunisian president and is a major recognition of the social commitment of the entire team in Tunisia; over 1600 people receive a secure income, medical healthcare and support for further training.

England.
Since 2020, we and our delicious fruit and vegetables have also been available in the UK. We also work with British Master Growers to offer regional fruit and vegetables.
