
Homemade Sun-Dried Tomatoes (Airfryer Style)
Ingredients:
- 500 g SanLucar tomatoes – red, ripe & full of summer
- SanLucar olive oil – liquid gold
- Your favorite spices (e.g. rosemary, garlic, chili …)
Preparation:
- Wash and halve the tomatoes (quarter if large).
- Place them cut-side up in the airfryer.
- Dry at 90–100 °C for at least 2–3 hours depending on size and desired texture.
- Occasionally open the airfryer drawer to let out moisture for more intense flavor.
- Let the tomatoes cool completely.
- Layer them in a clean jar and cover with olive oil.
- Add your favorite spices – to keep the flavor fresh and bold.
- Store in the fridge – or enjoy right away!
Tip: Perfect with pasta, antipasti, on bread, or just straight from the jar. A taste of summer in your pantry!
