SanLucar, the premium brand for fruit and vegetables, officially signed a long-term partnership agreement today with Borussia Mönchengladbach at the BORUSSIA-PARK stadium. The partnership, which has been in place since July 1, 2025, is now set to continue through to 2029.
During a meeting at BORUSSIA-PARK, SanLucar CEO Armin Rehberg, SanLucar Global Commercial Director Dominik Wehner, and representatives of Borussia Mönchengladbach officially signed the agreement, marking the formal start of the partnership. At the same time, concrete joint projects were discussed in the areas of sports, football, youth development, and healthy nutrition. The goal is to combine healthy eating with peak athletic performance while further strengthening SanLucar’s brand presence in professional football.
At the heart of the partnership is the supply of fresh fruit, crunchy vegetables, and popular FreshCut products to all teams – from professional players and youth squads to the support staff. In this way, SanLucar helps athletes, spectators, and fans boost their performance naturally – while enjoying delicious, high-quality produce. The SanLucar brand and its premium products will be prominently showcased throughout Borussia Mönchengladbach’s stadium: on LED boards, stadium screens, and via social media campaigns, SanLucar brings its message of freshness and quality directly to the fans. Joint activations at the point of sale – especially with retail partners in the region – are also planned to make the partnership come to life. Additionally, SanLucar will be present in the VIP areas, offering premium fruit baskets and its popular FreshCut products at every home match – providing refreshing moments of pure enjoyment.
