SanLucar, the leading premium brand for fruit and vegetables, has opened a new logistics and administrative site in Ridderkerk, near Rotterdam, to support its rapidly growing overseas business. The modern hub consolidates key functions along the value chain, marking an important milestone in the further development of the company’s international activities. All SanLucar Benelux operations for the region’s day-to-day business are also integrated at this location.
At the new site, logistics, sales, warehouse management, packaging, ripening and quality management are consolidated. This integration enables more efficient processes, faster coordination and creates additional capacity for the dynamically growing overseas categories as well as for strengthening the brand’s presence in the Benelux retail market.

From Ridderkerk, SanLucar will henceforth manage its business involving bananas, avocados, mangoes, pineapples, citrus fruits, grapes, berries, and stone fruit. The location strengthens the operational management of the overseas business and optimizes the process chain for European markets.

The new “SanLucar Benelux Fresh Hub” facility offers SanLucar significant potential for further growth with leading retail partners – across both branded and private-label segments – as well as substantial efficiency gains.
