When the orange trees bloom in South African Rooihoogte, our quality expert Eusebio is always exuberant.
Why? Because it smells so sweet all over the orchard and he’s looking forward to delicious oranges: »Now we have to wait for eight months, then we start harvesting.« And that can take up to a month. The harvest takes place in several cycles, so that every fruit is ideally ripe. Our mouths are already watering thinking about it. Especially since star chef Rolf Straubinger has determined that our oranges not only taste exceptionally aromatic, but also contain 20 percent more juice.
