
Banana Bread
Fire up the oven! Our creamy bananas from Ecuador taste delicious on their own, but they also make a heavenly ingredient in this aromatic banana bread. Enjoy every bite!
Ingredients:
- 125g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 SanLucar ripe bananas
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a deep plate, mash the peeled ripe bananas until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the mashed bananas, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
