Freshly baked banana bread with a golden crust – a moist and delicious homemade treat

Banana Bread

Fire up the oven! Our creamy bananas from Ecuador taste delicious on their own, but they also make a heavenly ingredient in this aromatic banana bread. Enjoy every bite!

Ingredients:

  • 125g plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 SanLucar ripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a deep plate, mash the peeled ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the mashed bananas, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  6. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
